Everyone through the gate
How this site is built
Plain headings in order, real text rather than pictures of text, labels on every control and a colour contrast we have measured rather than guessed. The whole catalogue works from the keyboard and reads cleanly in a screen reader.
Photographs carry descriptions that say what the animal is, not just that it is a product image.
Choosing plush with a sensory need in mind
Weight, pile length and the presence of a hard eye all matter for a child who is sensitive to texture. Our product pages list the material and the fill so you can judge before ordering, and the embroidered-face animals on the baby shelf are the safest starting point.
Shorter pile reads as smoother under the hand; the long-pile animals feel warmer and catch more. If you tell us the texture a child likes we will point you at the right line.
Tell us what is broken
If something here blocks you — a contrast we got wrong, a control that will not take focus, a description that says nothing — write to [email protected] with the page address and we will fix it. Accessibility faults go to the front of the queue.
